Gift: In this phase, physical energy declines as you turn inward. A unique ratio of estrogen to progesterone makes you notice things that you didn't see before.*

Focus: Take this opportunity to slow down, find comforting activities and pay attention to your immediate environment. It's an ideal time to clean and organize your house, cook at home and put things in order. Be gentle with yourself and remain curious about what your inner wisdom may reveal at this time. 

Support: Pay extra attention to self-care routines. This is a good time to relax and reduce social engagements. Make sure to eat foods rich in B vitamins, calcium, magnesium and fiber to stave off sugar cravings. Choose leafy greens, which help to alleviate fluid-retention. Eat roasted or baked vegetables and other complex carbs. Scale back on exercise intensity with lower resistance activities like walking, yoga, stretching and meditation.*
